Most workplace stress advice asks you to change your job. This is a smaller proposal: change the square metre around you. The nervous system reads its immediate environment constantly — light, sound, temperature, posture, the number of unresolved objects in view — and adjusts your baseline accordingly, without asking permission.
For the ears
Noise is the most underestimated stressor in modern work. Open-plan speech is the worst kind — intelligible, intermittent, impossible to tune out. You do not need silence, only a floor under the chaos.
Noise-cancelling over-ear headphones
$$$The single highest-leverage object on this list.

$For calls-free deep work, and for the flight home.

Nine hours of chair collapses the front of the hips and rounds the upper back — the exact posture the body also adopts under threat. Fix the shape and the mood follows.
Laptop or monitor riser
$Screen to eye height. Ends the forward head-lean.

$Restores the low-back curve a conference chair removes.

$Roll underfoot during calls. Absurdly effective.

Overhead fluorescents are flat and cold; the eye reads them as noon, forever. One warm pool of light at desk level tells the body which part of the day it is.
Warm-white desk lamp with dimmer
$$Turn the overheads off in the last hour of the day.

$Something alive in the field of view. Hard to over-water.

$$Air-conditioned offices sit near desert humidity. Fix the throat, fix the voice.

Pocket notebook and a pen you like
$Somewhere to put the thought so it stops circling.

$A physical clock beats a phone timer, because the phone is the problem.
